I worked at the UN for 33 years in total, in different departments, organizations and duty stations, and have a very good knowledge of the organization's activities. I was President of the UNIDO Staff Council for one year and co-ordinated the work of UNIDO with that of other organizations in the UN system for four years, both of which gave me an insight into the work of the other organizations in the UN system. However, there are still some areas on which I could be briefed.
