The United Nations’ Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) holds an annual session at the UN Headquarters in New York City. The CSW is a global intergovernmental body dedicated to promoting gender equality and empowering women worldwide.
The annual session brings together representatives from member states, UN entities, and civil society organizations to discuss and advance gender equality issues, including women’s economic empowerment, access to education and healthcare, and the elimination of violence against women. The CSW also provides a platform for sharing best practices and exchanging ideas on how to accelerate progress towards gender equality.
This year, NGO Academy (GDE) is co-sponsoring with Women’s Federation for World Peace International (WFWPI) a parallel session as shown below.
This session will showcase exceptional and courageous women whose expertise in technology and leadership, coupled with their insight and courage, have enabled them to make a positive impact on the lives of thousands. Their stories are a testament to the power of determination, resilience, and heart, and they serve as an inspiration to all who aspire to make a difference in the world.
